The idea behind this collage is to break free from imposed frames. It speaks of releasing yourself from limitations that are not truly yours: those gilded frames that confine and drain your life energy. This work is about Freedom.
This collage combines symbolic elements for me: sunflowers, a freely soaring eagle, and my own writings in Ukrainian Skoropys calligraphy. I also included some traditional Portuguese Azulejos, which are very meaningful to me.
